Kid Sublime Rappin’ Blak
Kid Sublime, Amsterdam based producer, is one of these people that can talk very passionate about music. So that’s exactly what he did when he dropped by in the studio, a few weeks before the release of Rappin’ Blak, that will come out on Dopeness Galore. Sublime showed us some tracks (with featurings from a.o Camp Lo, Defari, Frank ‘n Dank) and also played music he gets inspired by, such as Herbie Hancock, Patrice Rushen and last but not least Pete Rock – along with a nice speech where he explains why Pete Rock’s new productions are more relevant than we might expect.
This show might be a bit hard to follow for our non-Dutch listeners, but skipping trough is allowed.
In the meantime Kid Sublime is working on his next project, ‘Welcome To The Hiphouse’, have a peak at his myspace.
