It’s presented by Radna, Reinier and various guest DJ’s. We broadcast every Tuesday from 8-9PM on Red Light Radio, live from the Amsterdam red light district.

      In 2007 Future Vintage was founded by Melodee, Radna, Tom Trago & KC the Funkaholic. Over here you’ll find the best shows from our extensive archive, new podcasts and news & views about the music we like to share with you.

Tom Trago & Radna on Lijn5/NPS rooftop

After more than 60 shows (and the same amount of trips to the studio in Hilversum every monday), Future Vintage is leaving Dutch public radiostation Lijn5 (NPS). Since Lijn5 is moving to the so-called urban station FunX, Future Vintage felt it was the right time to change directions. We want to thank the whole Lijn5 crew for believing in us and the positive energy that was always around – in the small studio in this big broadcasting building.

So welcome to FutureVintage.net, where we will keep you up to date about our future plans (we’re talking with a station at the moment but have to work out the details), and bring you shows and interviews from our archive, as well as new podcasts (to start with two shows we’ll record live at Pure Jazz festival, more info on that soon). Although we are a Dutch radioshow we decided to do this blog in English, so that people from abroad also can get involved.

In the last show on Lijn5, Tom Trago and Radna decided to look back at the past year and play tracks that we liked so much, or brought back special memories, that we wanted to play them again. The mics sounded a bit crappy (different studio set up), but we had a wine and a dance, so enjoy.

    hey sambo, we had some bugs but the right show is up now! bad sound quality unfortunately since they changed the studio and the compressor didn’t work properly – we try to have a better quality version online soon (this one sounds pretty dusty :) )

    Thank you Liou – we tried to work it out, but this is the best we can get out of it. Quite symbollic; during our last show at Lijn5 the whole studio was already changed and the compressor seemed gone. There will be better sounding shows in the future.

    Bart – van Buma mogen we inderdaad geen shows als download aanbieden, maar misschien komt de podcast terug als we binnen enkele maanden bij een ander station verder gaan, dat hangt van hun policy af,

    Shit, dan maar snel de show van lijn5 nog downloaden, ik heb die Buma in m’n zak zak. Ben blij dat jullie doorgaan en dat jullie er love voor hebben. Zal elke week weer op de site kijken, hoop alleen dat in de toekomst ik de show op m’n Podje kan draaien.
    De formule van de show blijft hetzelfde neem ik aan?Hope so.

    doe ook een podcast dan….. dit in browser luisteren is niet optimaal…
    Fok die kanker buma !!!! De meeste van de artiesten die jullie draaien staan toch niet of onderaan de paylist van die fuckers !!

    Don’t worry lowman we zijn bezig met een andere optie, komt goed, de nieuwe shows worden nu gemixed en zullen binnenkort mede te beluisteren zijn via andere kanalen, ik ben met je eens dit is niet ideaal.
