Hello? An october update.

By Radna · October 15th, 2008, 21:26 · Things We Like

After reading some e-mails from upset Future Vintage listeners, (”I miss my weekly podcast, where are you guys?!”) I felt it was time for a little update again. No we didn’t left, it’s just that we don’t record any shows at the moment, since we haven’t find the right place to start it again. Behind the scenes we are still working on that, and it seems January will be the time for a Future Vintage radio comeback.

In the meantime, the FV crew is busy as usual. Melodee is for instance flying to Jakarta this week (after just coming back from shows in Berlin), together with KC the Funkaholic to perform on a festival with La Melodia. They have a new website by the way, designed by Mr. Punchdouble, who also designed this blog. Then Rush Hour brought the exciting news that Tom ‘Teacher’ Trago is about to release his first solo outing since 3 years. You can already hear a snippet of Passion, the promo 12″ for Tom’s upcoming album Voyage Direct. And then yours truly is busy organising the Amsterdam Museum Night, which take place the 1st of november. With 41 museums collaborating, a lot of interesting exhibitions and Saint Proper, More Tea, Vicar?, Tom, Aardvarck and others playing at different locations troughout the city, it promises to be a wonderful night. More music in the next post, for now, take a sneak peek inside Tom’s studio, thanks to Ondergrond.TV.
