Deze donderdag viert Future Vintage pioneer Tom Trago de release van zijn album Voyage Direct. Het is een plaat vol meeslepende sexy house (met disco en techno invloeden) waar we al eerder over schreven en inmiddels ook Laurent Garnier lovende woorden voor heeft: “proper beauty proper disco-techno album. At last someone that knows what disco music is all about …..This is simply brilliant”

Voyage Direct vraagt om de juiste industriele setting die er gelukkig sinds enkele weken is, de release zal namelijk plaatsvinden in Amsterdams nieuwste aanwinst Trouw. Ik was er afgelopen vrijdag nog bij De Verdieping, waar je nu een toffe architectuur expo kunt zien. Maar toen ik even boven keek zag ik een club met goed geluid, veel beton en precies genoeg licht. Wees erbij dus, want Tom brengt ook nog eens Trus ‘Me uit Manchester mee, bekend van het album Working Nights maar bovenal een DJ en discoliefhebber.
