In one of the smallest bars of Amsterdam, Café Belgique, once a month Ingmar (aka the ginger prince of sharpness) selects the records on a Tuesday night. This time he moved to the Future Vintage livingroom, and compiled a mix of krautrock, Dutch electronics, hiphop and italo boogie. We hope you like it. The mic was a bit too quiet, but if you don’t hear what I’m saying, there’s a playlist below. This Tuesday Ingmar & I will play together at Belgique from 10pm-1am.

Meanwhile, we’re working on some exciting new things for Future Vintage. December 9th, we’ll be broadcasting straight from the Red Light District at the opening of the Red Light Radio studio. And in January, the first Future Vintage party will take place at Toko MC. More about that next week.

We skipped a week because of Museum Night business, but no worries, Future Vintage is back with a new episode. Radna had a cold, but fortunately neighbour Colin was helping again, with a 30 minute mix. Since Colin still respects vinyl (just like I do) he’ll bring you a dedication to his favourite recordstores now and then. He starts with Honest Jons from London.

“It’s a truly amazing little record shop, full real charm and incredible wisdom! As well as stocking all kinds of great music, they have their own labels including Dug Out, which is a massive fav of me wife, I played Dadawah for her, like.  I recorded the some of the session for you here. It’s pretty far out in places, but you know me and that tea I drink up there – takes me off somewhere else.  Nice on a Sunday….” What is there left to be said? Enjoy the show.

This sunday things didn’t go exactly as planned, so instead of a new show I present you a never heard before mix recorded earlier this summer. You’ll probably recognize some tracks I’ve played in the last few weeks. For next weekend my neighbour Colin is preparing an hour of Future Vintage. Me myself will be running around then, because I’m also organising the Amsterdam Museumnight the 6th of November. Are you coming? 7pm – 2am, 45 museums with a special programme.
