It’s presented by Radna, Reinier and various guest DJ’s. We broadcast every Tuesday from 8-9PM on Red Light Radio, live from the Amsterdam red light district.

I decided to add the sleeve of NV’s Let Me Do You to this post, so you know which sleeve we were talking about in the show. The designer Martin Burgoyne is not very well represented on Google (besides being Madonna’s BFF) and I hope this post will change that a little.
As you are probably used of by now the show is filled with cutting edge RnB, and maybe even a little more, since I’m back from holiday. Furthermore the B-Side of the new Funkineven release (which is in stores now) and the NV song that fitted extremely well with it. Some of last years UK Funky since we are longing for summer and London; a Neptunes production since we will not forget it actually is summer; and a Busy Signal song that reminded us of his great show during Metro 54.
When summer doesn’t really take of, you can always remenisce about a summer somewhere else. Humming birds, a block party where they’d play Walk it Out, or simply remember the houseparty from last saturday with Doug Hream Blunt making you dance in the livingroom.

It’s a bit unclear what David Byrne meant with Making Flippy Floppy – some say it’s about sex, others say it’s about everyday life and not fitting in with the masses. Whatever it’s about, I quite like the expression for it clumsy sillyness and being strong at the same time. When Orpheu asked me last minute to an extra 2 hour show together with Foam (the museum for photography) who were in Arles, this is what came out; a mix of 2 Pac speeches, long Phil Cohran songs, scenes from Downtown 81 and interviews about the future of photography.
