Future Vintage is a radioshow dedicated to discovering the history and future of soul, jazz, hiphop, electronic & psychedelic music, with no boundaries. It’s presented by Radna, Reinier and various guest DJ’s. We broadcast every Tuesday from 8-9PM on Red Light Radio, live from the Amsterdam red light district.
In 2007 Future Vintage was founded by Melodee, Radna, Tom Trago & KC the Funkaholic. Over here you’ll find the best shows from our extensive archive, new podcasts and news & views about the music we like to share with you.

Always nice to ask friends and listeners about what they are listening to. It introduced us to Hugo Fattoruso and new afrobeats by D’Banji in this episode. Thanks Yamandu and Asheru. During the show the DJ of the show before us (Aroy Dee) shared the original of the Washed Out track with us, thank you (everything has its sources). And a special shout out to Loraine, the list we got through the mail was so nice the tips seeped to more than one show and made us listen to artists again we kind of forgot. Keep it coming. (!)
All this and more, like a very nice Kelis song from the beginning of the last decade (sounds old, but doesn’t) and a Beautiful Swimmers Remix which was a very nice second listening discovery for me in the hour of radio below.

It’s funny that after our 50th show we’re always excited when we hit another decimal. Now were in the seventies I can feel episode 100 already .
This one is very varied, a little improvised wrap up of music we still wanted to play but didn’t get to in the past shows. So here you go, an overlooked Bakey Ustl thing, Kerrier District and a little more bass, but some Faust, reggae and capoeira music as well.

We’ve been a bit busy again. Since the announcement of the party we haven’t been very active on the web, sorry for the little updates. This show kind of counters busy times with mellow music. I found it a very sooting soundtrack for the many tram rides I had to make lately.
It’s Radna en me playing back to back, so you won’t hear a lot of talking. That, and we just didn’t really feel like talking through this selection.
It’s Future Vintage’s Radna & Reinier and guests (DJ Faber! Orpheo! and maybe more) taking control of the upper room in the Chicago Social Club (Leidseplein 12). From 22.00-04.00.
It’s free.

We wish you all the best for the new year. I remember starting 2011 with hearing Brooklyn Zoo very loud on a houseparty. This year people were more into Asap Rocky and Drake to start 2012. Nonetheless, our first show of the new year kicks off with some classic ODB, and there are more gritty moments – like the messy beats from Taz Arnold, new rap music by Vince Staples and wave from the Antilles islands.
