How Men Can Stay Stylish Without Those Dreaded Shopping Trips and Fitting Rooms

It’s no secret that most men do not enjoy going shopping for clothes… or anything, really. Fear not, the days of being dragged to the mall by the wife or girlfriend could be over for you, or at least diminished. New trends in online shopping for men, such as  Bombfell.com are changing the way men shop—i.e., online. What makes sites like Bombfell.com different from just ordering clothing from online retailers is that they offer personal shoppers, make recommendations based on your selections and unique individual style and other variables, all at no additional cost to male shoppers.

This new concept is not unlike a lot of trends within other industries, such as those that sell organic food boxes to health conscious consumers, or baby care items for earth-conscious parents. The idea is to make it simple and desirable to get what you want online. The walk-in storefront isn’t really being replaced; what’s happening is that more options are being made available to accommodate more types of shoppers.

Now we have options in where we buy our clothes, how much we pay for them, when we purchase them, and now, with the advent of the men’s fashion websites and their personal stylists, guys can get a lot more out of the shopping experience without having to be inconvenienced with multiple trips to various clothing outlets, or going to one place for sportswear, another for formal wear, another for casual clothing, and so on. If  you want to completely make over your sock drawer? Done. You’d like to grab a pair of glasses on the cheap while providing a service? It is just as easy as a click. Online shopping has become fast and attractive. Everything is usually all under one roof in terms of shoppers’ attire selections, and that creates a relaxing online atmosphere that is extremely attractive to male consumers who are eager to move away from the traditional shopping experience.

Probably the coolest facet of the Bombfell business model and those that are likely to quickly follow in their footsteps is this: the clothes picked out for shoppers by their stylists are shipped directly to their home or office. Once buyers have had a chance to strut around in their new duds in the privacy of their own environs, if something does not strike their fancy, they can send it back at no charge, and they will never have to pay for a single piece of clothing they don’t like, that doesn’t fit, or they just don’t feel works for their look or needs. It is as simple as receiving a box in the mail, opening it up, trying a few things on, picking the items that work and those that don’t, hanging on to the “dos” and sending back the “don’ts.” Once Bombfell receives the rejected items, it sends something back in its stead, based upon client feedback and discussion with the personal stylist.

Clothing plans from Bombfell currently range from $70 to $200 based upon items, ensembles, and of course the cost of items based on brand. To be sure, Bombfell may not have all the kinks worked out perfectly, but the overall ease of use is alluring to men especially, and is the template for a new phase in shopping both online and off that will very likely lead to happier buyers and sellers.
