… she blogs about them.
Meet Harry. Yeah, that’s Harry. Below. You really can’t miss him.
I met Harry when picking up a white bow tie and cummberbund from Zeller’s Tuxedos on 45th & Lexington for one of the outfits of Derrick Sabater, who will reign as Fresh Prince of New York this Sunday evening.
I thought Harry would be taken aback by my exclamation of pure joy when I first spotted him in the midtown store. But Harry remained cool. I mean, how could he not? The man’s style — consisting of vintage designer goodies that only the most daring would wear — is pure coooooool, man.
And Harry knew the picture-taking drill. He grabbed his hat, jacket, and glasses to complete the look before posing for the cam. The ex personal shopper and fashion socialite gets invites to parties just to show off his style and to entertain guests.
Now, if only that were a legitimate paying job: To show up at parties fabulously dressed and pose for pictures.
Harry, thanks for the information and for the positive energy. If you’re reading, be in touch! We’ll go vintage hunting, dressed to the nines.
Are these in a women’s size 10? Because I most definitely need a pair.
Harry told me that his friend makes these pants. Love the David Bowie-esque face plastered with paint. Painter’s pants … but not.
Harry, you are a vintage-lover’s inspiration.
