The $10 Little Black Dress from Goodwill!

There she is! Before/after shots of The Little Black ($10!) Dress I wore to the 2010 Glamour Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall on Monday, November 8th.

Huge thanks to Jenn from Rich Girls and Roller Skates for helping me decide between the 3 LBD finalists … each was so special in her own totally thrifty way! But I settled on the Laundry dress because it was a beautiful designer piece that quite honestly fit like a gem — and went well with one of my favorite accessories: FISHNETS!

Looking back, SO thankful she encouraged me NOT to go in that direction! Maybe for Mardi Gras this spring, perhaps?
