Have you heard of chalkboard paint? Have you considered using it to decorate your home or apartment? This paint can turn any wall into a chalkboard, which is more amazing that you might first realize. You can create whimsical bathroom look like in the photograph above — I love the drawn in toothbrushes — or be more practical and paint a wall near the fridge just for a grocery list. What else can you do with chalkboard paint? Here are some ideas.
- Paint a wall in the playroom so that kids can get artistic with a bucket of chalk.
- Use chalkboard paint to create a seasonal wall that can be decorated with palm trees in the summer and snowflakes in the winter… or the other way around if you’d rather daydream about palm tress when it’s cold outside!
- Coat a wall in your home office. You could paint on a calendar template that is permanent, or keep the whole thing blank for brainstorming sessions.
- Use the paint on a piece of furniture, like dresser drawers or the top of a nightstand.
