by When my friend Bridget emailed me about helping to wardrobe her as Joan Holloway from Mad Men for Halloween, I knew that I had stumbled upon something good. Something that my friends (shout out to you, Miss Tammy Tibbetts & Rachel Draper Mount!) had even suggested weeks prior: to advertise myself as a “Mad Men” Halloween costume one-stop-shop.
She kept her question simple in the body of the email:
“Anyway, I have two questions for you. I’m thinking about being Joan Holloway from Mad Men for Halloween. Do you have a ’60s-ish red or purple dress in your collection?”
And one-stop-shop is exactly what I became, transforming Bridget from uptown NYC girl to Madison Avenue hyper-feminine chic.
